I am pleased to share that Connecticut Higher Education Supplemental Loan Authority (CHESLA) student loan refinancing program, Refi CT helps students and families manage student loan debt.

I am pursuing funding for the long-shuttered American Shakespeare Festival Theatre on Elm Street in Stratford. 

I was interviewed for the CT Forest and Park Association’s CT Woodlands magazine feature on the Constitutional question to protect public land.

On Friday, September 21, the CT Department of Veterans Affairs is holding a Stand Down event at its Rocky Hill campus, offering veterans medical screenings, employment and educational assistance, recovery services, and more.

Operation Fuel is a private, nonprofit statewide program that offers emergency energy assistance to low income families and elderly residents.

Connecticut has just launched a new Text-to-911 capability as part of the state’s new Next Generation 9-1-1 Emergency Telecommunications System.

The state Bond Commission gave approval for $52,746 for Stratford to replace the outdated playscape at the South End Community Center. The South End Community Center is home to before and after school programs in addition to providing young children a safe place to play. I am proud of the team effort by the Stratford legislative delegation to secure this funding. This is an investment in children, families and quality of life for our area.

Earlier this week I had the privilege of riding along with the Stratford Fire Department. I saw first-hand the professional service they provide our community.
