Early Voting Resolution Passes in House

May 6, 2021

Your vote is your voice and your right. Demand a say on how and when you cast your ballot and speak out in support of HJ 59.
The resolution proposes a constitutional amendment to allow for in-person early voting. Connecticut is currently only one of six states that do not allow for some form of early voting.

Today, this resolution passed out of the House, and it will appear as a constitutional question on the 2022 general election ballot. This means that you, along with all other eligible voters in Connecticut, would have the final say in whether our state becomes the 45thstate to allow early voting.

H.J. 59 is part of our strong push this session to make voting more accessible, convenient and safe for all eligible voters in Connecticut.
