Friday Update: UniteCT Assistance
A lot happened this week. The Connecticut House and Senate worked in Hartford till well after midnight passing legislation to move the state forward. I’ll be following up later with details.
But first, you should know that on Wednesday a Federal judge overturned the CDC’s national ban on evictions. Importantly, Connecticut has established a fund for emergency rental assistance, but few have applied for it. Too many here are underemployed or unemployed, and this fund can help both tenants and small landlords. If you or someone you know can benefit, please click here, look into it, and share it.
