This moderated panel discussion will focus on some of the key questions about ranked-choice voting: how it works; its promise to make election outcomes more representative; what voters think about it; and, the impact it is already having on elections around the United States.

The panel features three experts on Ranked Choice Voting and election reform:

  • Dave Daley, senior fellow, FairVote and author of Unrigged, How Americans are Battling Back to Save America and Ratf**ked: Why Your Vote Doesn't Count
  • Sean Dugar, executive director, More Voice DC and the education campaign director for Rank the Vote NYC
  • Anna Kellar, executive director, League of Women Voters of Maine and Maine Citizens for Clean Elections

The panel will be moderated by another expert in democracy reform, Victoria Bassetti, advisor to the newly formed States United Democracy Center, formerly a fellow with the Brennan Center, and author of Electoral Dysfunction.
