Last Friday, on the 49th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, I was proud to stand with a number of my colleagues in the legislature led by State Representative Jillian Gilchrest and Matt Blumenthal —as well as our heroic reproductive rights advocates and some of our federal delegation and statewide leaders to recommit ourselves to protecting reproductive freedom, abortion access, and a woman's right to choose. As we continue to navigate new laws in other states and the ongoing Supreme Court cases, there's work to be done right here in Connecticut—and I look forward to supporting the efforts of the Reproductive Rights Caucus this session.
