My First Days as Your State Rep

January 20, 2023

I am blessed and privileged to represent the great people of the 41st district as your state representative. As your voice in Hartford, I come to provide proactive and prudent leadership on behalf of Groton, Stonington, and Mystic.
Your support has been overwhelming, and I will work tirelessly to bring progress and funding to our communities.
I was sworn in on January 4th at the State Capitol and was honored to be surrounded by friends and family. Additionally, I have been appointed to serve on the powerful Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee, Planning and Development Committee, and Environment Committee. I am also serving as Assistant Majority Leader and was elected Secretary of the legislature's Black and Puerto Rican Caucus.
Some of my priorities are to:
  • Improve quality of life for everyone
  • Promote small business growth
  • Support our schools
  • Tackle climate change
  • Cut taxes for our working families

As your state representative, I look forward to making informed and reasoned decisions on all the important issues affecting you. Thank you for your faith in me and for this opportunity of a lifetime.
