Harm Reduction Advocacy 
This amazing team visited the Hartford Legislative Office Building this week joining Harm Reductionists from across the State to support legislative efforts to address the overdose crisis!
We all know the importance of Overdose Prevention Centers, mobile methadone, or other policy changes that could make a real difference in conquering our public health emergency. Thank you all for coming and standing to make important change in the communities throughout our State.
 
ConneCT & Cuts
In the
City of New London, Connecticut , Stephanie Thomas Secretary of the State of Connecticut began the first in a series of visits to barber shops and salons in Connecticut to launch the “ConneCT & Cuts” initiative in which Thomas will have conversations about such topics as voting, civic engagement, and the services the Secretary of the State’s Office provides.
The conversations are being filmed and will be posted on the Secretary of the State’s social media to share the message with a wider audience. Present today were also Director Felix J. Reyes (EDP), Council President Reona Dyess , Mayor Michael Passero,
State Senator Martha Marx , along with a representative of the League of Woman's Voters.

Sailfest 2023

NORD Rare Disease Day

Thank you to NORD for organizing this inciteful and informative event.  
Thursday was an important day for educating Connecticut legislators and the general public on the challenges faced by rare disease patients and their families.
