First Time on the Dais

Yesterday, in my role as Deputy Speaker, I had the opportunity to serve as Speaker on the dais for the first time.
Deputy Speakers are appointed by the Speaker of the House and assume the duties of the Speaker in the absence of the Speaker.
What a great experience!
