Last Friday, I teamed up with Karen Thomas, the Executive Director of Friendly Hands Food Bank and other leaders to celebrate the first annual CT Food Insecurity Day. We brought awareness to the plight of food insecurity in the state and highlighted the importance of food banks/ pantries. Click here to watch the full event. 

Session April 27
The Connecticut State House of Representatives was in session on Thursday. In addition to welcoming the UCONN Men's Basketball team to the chamber, we also passed a few pieces of legislation.
