CJ Peruvian Restaurant Visit
I had the great opportunity to stop by CJ Peruvian Restaurant with Owners Rosaura Pedroza & Bladamir Pedrozo for a great networking event. They had some great dishes and drinks on display along with an amazing live band: Brisa Azul (students from Connecticut College). When time permits make sure you stop by and enjoy the delicious Peruvian cuisine. 291 Connecticut Ave, City of New London, Connecticut.
Shout out to Carol Balbuena collaborating with CJ Peruvian Restaurant on this great networking event.

Community Needs Assessment Results
The City of New London Recreation Department recently collaborated with over 20 diverse community organizations to hear what type of programming the community would like to see offer at the new NL Community Recreation Center (2025).  The results of the Community Needs Assessment is being used to create a wellness hub program plan. I hope you'll attend the public presentation which includes the original intention of the focus groups, the demographics of who participated to support the engagement they were hoping for, and the types of programs the community is requesting at the new community center and wellness hub.
