Dear Neighbor,
Honoring Spencer Lancaster
My heart felt Condolences to the Lancaster family in the loss of a great legend. I truly feel Spencer Lancaster was one of the greatest of all time. Mr. Lancaster, a true community dad that always made time for us around the clock, was a great mentor, great confidant and one of the best father figures and friends I have ever had.

I know that if Mr. Lancaster was to put what he taught myself, my son, and the community over the years in a book, it would be a number one seller. The City of New London, Connecticut should forever be grateful for the mountains Mr. Lancaster moved for us, and many of us are able to reside where we are now because of his staunch advocacy for where people should be able to live.

I am thankful to the Lancaster family for sharing such an amazing Dad with our community. Mr Lancaster will always be remembered not only as one of the greatest of all time to me - but a true community hero.

Rest easy Sir. Will always Love you from here to heaven.
