I’m proud to share that all Connecticut SNAP recipients now have access to their full November benefits on their EBT cards.

Over the past several weeks, my colleagues and I have been advocating directly with the administration and state agencies to make sure that families here in Connecticut aren’t left behind during this federal gridlock. I’m happy to report that our state is stepping up and ensuring Connecticut families and have access to the food and resources they need this holiday season.

Despite the federal Administration’s continued attempts to undermine food assistance programs, Connecticut is backfilling SNAP benefits to protect our residents. We refuse to let Republicans in Washington play political games with people’s ability to eat.
