I had the great opportunity to stop by and give a citation on behalf of me and my colleagues from the State of Connecticut at Shiloh New London’s 14th Annual Prison Awareness & Prevention Gathering: A Day of Impact and Connection.
The community came together for the 14th Annual Prison Awareness & Prevention Gathering, themed “Building and Strengthening Leadership to Serve Our Community.” The day opened with the unifying rhythm of African drumming, setting the tone for a gathering rooted in healing and hope.
A special thank you goes to Winston Taylor, MSW, the event facilitator, whose dedication and vision have guided this event year after year. His commitment to raising awareness and building a stronger, more compassionate community shines brightly and inspires us all.
Thank you to the speakers, volunteer, and community for making this gathering meaningful. |
