This morning, the Community Investment Fund 2030's Board approved over $1.62 million for the completion of the Lyman Allyn Park - a 12-acre urban park with lighted walkways, sculpture gardens, an event stage, a water feature, and green spaces.
The funding must now be approved by the State Bond Commission.
The Lyman Allyn Park has been a highly anticipated project in New London, and I’m thrilled that this latest round of funding should push it over the finish line. The Lyman Allyn Art Museum is already one of our most popular tourist attractions, and completing this park will make it even more welcoming and appealing to a diverse audience. I can't wait to see what's next! |
