Standing Against Hate-Driven Organizations
I firmly believe that the involvement of hate-driven organizations in public or political events is unacceptable under any circumstances, regardless of who they are or their political affiliations. These groups push beliefs that fundamentally oppose our values of equality, individual rights, and the protection of every citizen.
I stand with those who condemn any actions or rhetoric that seeks to intimidate or undermine the integrity of our democracy. Southeastern Connecticut, along with every community dedicated to fairness and inclusivity, must unequivocally reject the presence and influence of such divisive forces.

I had the great opportunity to attend The New London Police Department recognition & swearing in ceremony I was pleased to issue to State of Connecticut General Assembly Citations to:
- Officer Seth Bolduc - In Recognition Of: his exceptional bravery and quick thinking when responding to a suicidal crisis, Officer Bolduc successfully prevented the loss of a life by applying immediate first aid to a victim suffering from a severe neck wound. His actions demonstrate a commitment to public safety and exemplify the highest standards of law enforcement.

Officer Sadowski modeled for others what to expect of their first responders, selflessness and bravery, in the face of uncertainty. His quick thinking helped to save a man's life, and for that he has the community's thanks. May all that he sent into the lives of so many come back into his own a hundredfold.
