Happy Thanksgiving & Milford Turkey Trot

November 26, 2024

I would like to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving! May your day be filled with warmth and moments of gratitude surrounded by loved ones. Whether you're surrounded by family, friends, or a quiet moment of reflection, I hope this holiday brings you peace and happiness. Let’s take this opportunity to cherish the blessings in our lives and share kindness with those around us.
Cooking a turkey for Thanksgiving is a cherished tradition that brings joy, unity, and gratitude. The process begins with selecting the perfect bird, carefully preparing, and envisioning the meal to come with friends and family. As the turkey roasts, its rich aroma fills the house, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that draws family and friends to the kitchen.

I'm sure many of you have your own family recipe, but feel free to consider the roasting tips below. Wishing you all a wonderful celebration filled with love, laughter, and delicious food!

While you think about the upcoming feast, everyone is invited to get a little workout before sitting at the table. The 4th annual Milford Turkey Trot will be held on Thursday at 9:00 A.M. along Gulf Street, Buckingham Avenue, and New Haven Avenue.

Feel free to run or walk the course alone, with your kids, with strollers, or even with your pets on leashes as all routes are on Milford sidewalks. No roads will be closed for this event. It is not a race, it is a fun run/walk charity event. Please be safe at all times.

All of the proceeds and donations will go to the following organizations:
