First off, it's February 14, so Happy Valentine's Day. I hope you get to share it with a special someone and if not, family and friends usually makes a nice gathering, too.

Oh and Happy Harc Day as well!

Today, we recognized Harc which provides a lifetime of special needs support to individuals who have intellectual and related disabilities, and their families, so they may enjoy lives of quality, inclusion and dignity.

I was proud to stand with colleagues, friends and advocates at the Legislative Office Building today.

Newington Rotary Club president Dave Tedeschi brought awareness of human trafficking, a form of modern-day slavery, to the Capitol Thursday as part of the End It Campaign.

Participants were asked to wear a red X on their hand in support and show it on social media.
