Celebrating Polish Day At The Capitol
May 7, 2025On Friday, May 2nd, I had the honor of hosting the 34th Annual Polish Day at the State Capitol, a celebration of Polish heritage and the 234th Anniversary of the Polish Constitution of 1791. Each year, this event honors the heritage, culture, and contributions of Connecticut's Polish American community, especially here in New Britain, or "The Polish Capitol of Connecticut".

March 13, 2025It's been busy at the Capitol as committee meetings and public hearings continue. My colleagues and I were back in session last week, where we voted on $40 million in Special Education Funding, grants for nonprofits, the 2025-2030 Conservation and Development Plan and Judicial and Executive nominations. I am always committed to working for and serving the residents of New Britain and communities across Connecticut.

$40M for Special Education Funding
February 26, 2025On Monday, I was proud to vote for a bill allocating $40 million in funding to special education, giving immediate support to more than 140 school districts in our state and helping to provide the highest quality education for our students.
