Celebrating Polish Day At The Capitol

May 7, 2025

On Friday, May 2nd, I had the honor of hosting the 34th Annual Polish Day at the State Capitol, a celebration of Polish heritage and the 234th Anniversary of the Polish Constitution of 1791. Each year, this event honors the heritage, culture, and contributions of Connecticut's Polish American community, especially here in New Britain, or "The Polish Capitol of Connecticut".

March Community Forum, Special Ed Funding, and More

It's been busy at the Capitol as committee meetings and public hearings continue. My colleagues and I were back in session last week, where we voted on $40 million in Special Education Funding, grants for nonprofits, the 2025-2030 Conservation and Development Plan and Judicial and Executive nominations. I am always committed to working for and serving the residents of New Britain and communities across Connecticut.
