The 2022 Legislative Session has come to a close. It was a fast-paced and productive session, where we had historic wins in defending reproductive rights and investing in youth mental health, and many other victories that will enhance our community and our state.

After months of negotiation and hearing input from residents across our state, I am happy to pass along great news. The House of Representatives passed a $24 billion state budget adjustment package which provides $600 million in tax relief for working families. 

The House passed a bi-partisan bill to address the uptick in juvenile criminal activity driven by the COVID-19 pandemic.
