Tax filing season is upon us. As you prepare to file, I urge you to be mindful of potential scams. The IRS produces a list of "dirty dozen" tax scams.  While these scams can occur year-round, they tend to increase during this time of the year. It’s wise to stay on top of the latest list of common issues—and take some simple steps to stay safe from them.

In celebration of Women’s History Month, I am hosting a writing contest for middle school and high school students in Wethersfield. 

On Tuesday I tested positive for the Covid-19 virus and am feeling lousy. I cancelled all of my in-person meetings and events but was able to attend public hearings in Finance Revenue and Bonding and Government Administration and Elections virtually. 

The entire Wethersfield legislative delegation is hosting a coffee hour at Heirloom Market on Wednesday, February 22nd from 8-9am.

I will be co-hosting a public forum on energy assistance and policy on Tuesday, February 7.

State Representative Kerry Wood and I look forward to hosting Rocky Hill and Wethersfield residents and business owners at the Legislative Office Building and State Capitol next Wednesday (January 25th) at 11am.
