Operation Fuel's energy assistance program opened this week for the Winter/Spring season.

As we ring in the new year, there are some laws that become effective on January 1 that were passed during the 2023 legislative session addressing key issue areas including early voting, health and mental health, and online privacy and data protection.

Connecticut is offering a wonderful new program that will make applying for higher education much easier - and less expensive - for graduating high school students.

I'm very excited to have joined colleagues and New Haven officials earlier this week to announce very crucial safety improvements on Grand Avenue. This long-awaited project will focus on traffic safety upgrades including the repaving of roads, new sidewalks, and better lighting.

The Veterans & Military Affairs Committee is hosting an informational hearing on Wednesday, November 8, at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford, Room 2C, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. 

During this period, individuals can enroll for the first time, renew their coverage, and explore the various policy options to see which will be the most beneficial.

The two-day clinic (October 27 & 28) provides FREE dental care to the underserved and uninsured in Connecticut; those who would otherwise go without this care.
