Honoring Memorial Day, Major Public Acts Report, and more

One of my favorite parts of my job as your state representative is meeting with people to listen, learn and discuss issues that are important to them. I had the opportunity to meet with Sikorsky Leadership, High School students, Wooster Middle School Health Haven Clinic staff, Eli Elementary School, and more.

Stratford Town Hall Recap, HB 5003 Signed Into Law

With the 2026 Legislative Session behind us, I spent some time this past week around Stratford and the district connecting with residents on the work we accomplished this session. It is an honor to represent the hardworking people of Startford in the Connecticut General Assembly. Over the last year and a half since taking office, I have loved every moment and have dedicated myself to listening and learning from residents while navigating this role. During this session, we were able to accomplish a lot for the people of Connecticut, and I am incredibly proud of our work and of the opportunity to work alongside inspiring legislators.

End of the 2026 Legislative Session

The 2026 Legislative Session adjourned this week, on Wednesday, May 6th, at Midnight. It was an exciting and very productive Short Session, and we passed numerous pieces of legislation to address affordability, protections for residents, and so much more. Thanks to the continued advocacy from residents of all ages who met with me and my legislative colleagues over the last few months, we were able to deliver on meaningful legislation. It has been a true honor and privilege to serve as your State Representative and advocate for the residents of Stratford's 120th District.

Legislative Session Update, CNA Day at the Capitol, and more

The House was in Session Monday through Saturday this week, consisting of 12-16 hour days as bills were brought to the floor for debate and a vote in the House and the Senate. The 2026 Legislative Session will conclude on Wednesday, May 6th, at Midnight. We have just a few days left, and there is more work for the legislature to do. I am deeply grateful and honored for the opportunity to serve in the Connecticut General Assembly and represent Stratford, advocating for the needs of our neighbors and our community.

Legislative Session Update, Earth Day, and more

April 24, 2026

This week, we continued doing the people’s work in Hartford as the House was in Session Monday through Thursday, consisting of long days and nights. We passed numerous bills out of the House that will provide additional consumer and patient protections, gun violence prevention measures, standardized public health protections, and more. It has been a very busy and productive week, from debating on the House Floor to meeting with advocates in the final weeks of the session. Next week, we will be back up at the Capitol for Session, Monday through Saturday!
