As the federal government shutdown reaches the one-month mark, there are real concerns about programs such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which helps keep children and families, the elderly, and many veterans fed.

All Connecticut SNAP recipients have access to their FULL November benefits on their EBT cards.

While the federal government shutdown continues, I wanted to include resources this week that may be of help to you, including food assistance.

Fall is here. Inclement weather is on its way for this weekend, but this is really a great time to live in Connecticut, because the foliage throughout the state is unmatched.
