During the 2023 legislative session, we successfully passed several measures to enhance and support our skilled workforce and make our state more attractive to companies and new businesses.

I'm pleased to share that Stamford School District has been awarded a grant of $83,700 to support the delivery of mental health services for our students during the summer months.

As the elderly population continues to grow, so does the unfortunate rise in scam attempts targeting this community. In response, I was proud to support the passage of PA 23-161, also known as, "An Act Concerning Financial Exploitation of Senior Citizens," to help shield our older residents.
