Today, the Government Administration and Elections Committee held a public hearing which partially involved testimony on changing the state insect to the Autumn Meadowhawk dragonfly. While this sounds like a trivial measure, I was very encouraged by the many students of our Center Road School that cared about the issue enough to want to involve themselves in the political process.
I read these statements on their behalf, which you can see by clicking the video below. Encouraging any of our students, who will be our future, to get involved in the political process, no matter how small a measure, should always be inspiring.
