I hope you can join me, fellow delegation members, and city councilmen for a New Britain Community Forum this Saturday, January 25th, at Spottswood A.M.E. Zion Church on 25 Crestwood Lane, from 10 a.m. to noon.

We're set to experience a period of brutally frigid conditions over the coming days. The state’s severe cold weather protocol will go into effect beginning at 6 p.m. on Sunday and remain in effect through noon on Friday, January, 24th

We are ready and set to go for the 2025 Legislative Session! We were all sworn in on Wednesday. I want to take this moment to affirm my commitment to serving you and all of the residents of the 24th District to the best of my ability.

I want to wish you a Happy New Year! I look forward to serving you and the residents of Connecticut during the 2025 legislative session, which begins on January 8th. And with that, I want to point out several new laws passed during the 2024 session that will go into effect on Wednesday, January 1.

Voting is a fundamental right that should be fair and accessible, but Connecticut's voting laws are needlessly restrictive when it comes to voting by absentee ballot.
