I am pleased to report that the towns of Groton and Ledyard will receive $9,410,202 and $920,023, respectively, in Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Funds (ESSER II) as part of the second CARES act that passed in December 2020.

As we all begin to navigate the upcoming virtual legislative session, I wanted to provide you with the resources to ensure your voice is heard.

There is a lot of confusion surrounding the vaccine rollout and unfortunately, scammers are using this opportunity to take advantage of those in the community. 

A few of you have reached out to express your concerns about the extension of the public health and civil preparedness emergency.

The State of Connecticut is expecting about 45,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses on a weekly basis from the federal government.

I am pleased to announce that the town of Groton has received a Community Connectivity Grant. The $344,705 grant will be used to extend the G & S Trolley trail.
