Celebrating Polish Day at the Capitol
It’s #PolishDay at the Capitol! As a short term resident of Poland, I consider myself an honoree Pol. I loved my time there and loved meeting many Polish-Americans citizens on the campaign trail. The community has played an important role in our country for generations and made tremendous contributions to society. The dancing and singing by the children was wonderful. I didn’t have time to stick around for perogi as I was off to Appropriations.
This celebration today, commemorates the 228th Anniversary of the Polish Constitution! Congratulations to all the honorees, the coordinators, the beautiful exhibit in the concourse, the music and everyone who played a key role during the planning process of this great event.
