Helping Local Artists
Many of you, and our neighbors, are working artists whose livelihood is suddenly compromised.
There have been several efforts to address the unique situation of working artists, and I can address them in future mailings. But first you should know about a local effort to provide support that launched today. Information is below.
"Artists in New Haven can now apply for a $1,000 check to help with the economic downturn created by the Covid-19 public health crisis. This New Haven Creative Sector Relief Fund launches on Thursday, through the efforts of the city arts department and the Arts Council of Greater New Haven."
