View this email in your browser Dear Neighbor,  It’s been a busy week, with session and committee meetings.   I met with New Haven students and the superintendent who came to advocate for our schools. Also, House Democrats voted Thursday on HB 6771, which I cosponsored. to strengthen healthcare for Connecticut's seniors! Among other things, this legislation: ✅ Increases access for vital biomarker testing. ✅ Enhances safety with improved background checks for all nursing home employees. ✅ Establishes a task force to address the specific needs of seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia.   This action reflects our ongoing efforts to support and care for our aging population.
