Dear Neighbor,

Happy September! For many, especially for our younger residents, this time of year means it is time to go back to school. Best of luck to all of the students, teachers, and staff who started their school year! 

As students head back to school, let's all do our part to keep them safe! 

Slow down in school zones, stop for buses, and stay alert. Safe driving in our community ensures our kids arrive at school and home safely.
 
Colleges and other institutions of higher learning are also back in session. If you are post secondary student that is interested in government, I encourage you to check out the CGA legislative internship program. The application for 2025 will be open through Nov. 1, 2024.
