As 2025 comes to a close, I would like to express my gratitude for your support throughout the past year. We faced many challenges and notched a fair share of victories through them all.

I am so happy to announce that Governor Lamont approved $3 million in bonding for 76 of the affordable units that Representative Kavros DeGraw, Senator Honig, and I pushed for to keep the project on course.

This week, the U.S. Senate failed to extend federal Affordable Care Act subsidies. As a result, Governor Lamont announced that the state expects to spend roughly $70 million next year to make up for the loss.

The Appropriations Committee, of which I am a vice chair, along with the Finance, Revenue, and Bonding Committee, held a joint meeting to hear Fiscal Analysis Reports (FAR) from the Office of Fiscal Analysis (OFA) and the Office of Policy and Management (OPM) last week.

This training is appropriate for anyone who is interested in learning basic concepts around grief and loss, the impact of grief on children and families, and resources in the community, including a review of all Cove programs.
