Today and yesterday, we held another successful Legislative Session at the Capitol. Plenty of highly anticipated bills were debated during those two days.

Big Public Hearing for TCB on Thursday
March 6, 2026I am proud to share that there will be an Appropriations Committee Public Hearing on Thursday, where HB5447, An Act Implementing Recommendations of the Transforming Children's Behavioral Health Policy and Planning Committee and Concerning Temporary Family Assistance Benefit, will be discussed in Room 2C of the LOB and via Zoom.

Earned Income Tax Credit
February 20, 2026Connecticut increased its Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) to 40% of the federal credit for the 2024-2025 tax year, providing a significant, refundable tax boost to low-income working families. Eligible residents must file a state income tax return and claim the credit to receive it.
