Investment in CT Grown for CT Kids Grant Program
December 27, 2024The Connecticut Department of Agriculture announced that 15 projects will receive funding through the Connecticut Grown for Connecticut Kids Grant (CTG4CTK Grant) in fiscal year 2025. More than $750,000 was allocated during this round of funding.

Playhouse on Park Receives Bond Funding
December 20, 2024Playhouse on Park of West Hartford has received $100,000 from the State Bond Commission. The funding will be used renovate the building's offices, dressing rooms and storage spaces.
Wrong Way Detection Installations in Connecticut
December 6, 2024Additional wrong way detection installations are occurring throughout Connecticut. Installations in Norwich, Waterford, East Windsor, West Hartford, Meriden, Windsor, Southington, and Cheshire were slated to finish today.

Community Event to Celebrate the Return of Direct Flights to Jamaica
November 15, 2024Earlier this year, Avelo Airlines announced an expansion to Bradley International Airport with seven, new direct flights, including nonstop service to Montego Bay, Jamaica.
To honor the inaugural flight, Avelo Airlines will hold a free community reception tonight at the West Indian Social Club of Hartford.
30 Million to Improve State Parks & Forests
