I am thrilled to announce that the Baby Bonds Program will receive the funding it needs to be operational. This statewide policy invests directly in Connecticut children born into poverty while simultaneously narrowing the generational and racial wealth gaps in our state.
I am proud to announce funding for the Age in Place Program, which is designed to help seniors in Bloomfield and surrounding towns with minor home repairs to ensure they can remain in their homes.
There will be an informational meeting at the Bloomfield Senior Center, located on 330 Park Avenue, on Wednesday, August 9.
The West Hartford delegation will hold an end of session wrap up event this Thursday, June 29 from 7 pm - 8:30 pm. My colleagues and I will outline our successes and victories from the last legislative session, as well as discuss our plans for next year. I hope to see you on Thursday!
