UniteCT Allocated Additional $11 Million for Rent and Utility Assistance

UniteCT, which provides rent and utility assistance for households financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, has been allocated an additional $11 million from the U.S. Department of the Treasury to supplement more than $400 million in federal funding previously allocated for the program that helps keep families safely housed.

Student Loan Debt Relief is Here!

August 25, 2022

President Biden announced he will sign an executive order which will forgive up to $10,000 of student loan debt for individuals making less than $125,000 per year (and couples earning less than $250,000). Borrowers who received a Pell Grant may be eligible to receive up to $20,000 in loan forgiveness.
