Connecticut is experiencing another stretch of hot and humid temperatures, so the state's Extreme Hot Weather Protocol has been activated and remains in effect through 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
Call 2-1-1 or visit 211ct.org if you do not have air conditioning or a cool place to stay. State agencies, municipalities, and other partners coordinate with the United Way 2-1-1 to make sure that information regarding cooling centers is available statewide, providing a location to get some relief.
