State Capitol Update For The Week of December 15

As we head into the final days of 2023, things are both speeding up and slowing down in the Capitol. Today we had the final Bond Commission meeting of the year, which included funding for electric buses in Region One (in Sharon, Cornwall, and HVRHS), the purchase of a new building for the Friendly Hands Food Bank in Torrington, and repairs to a dam in Goshen (among many other things). The room was packed, and it provided a nice opportunity to wish everyone Joyful Holidays and a Happy New Year.
