I had a productive conversation with Frank Randazzo and his brother at the Weston Town Center where we discussed the various obstacles experienced by our pharmacies that prevent them from staying in business. 

I am determined to champion the daunting challenge of neighborhood pharmacies such as Weston's that get slammed with Pharmacy Benefits Manager restrictions, claw back costs, DIR fees, and delays in reimbursement. These are just some of the unsustainable ways that are our small independent neighborhood pharmacies are trying to compete. 

I will keep you posted as the session progresses on ways to offer our community providers relief to stay in business.
