I had a lot of fun on Saturday at the MOVE! With the Greater Hartford Urban League's summer event at Keney Park, which celebrates the many ways community members are active, whether running, walking, stretching, playing, or dancing.

Our West Hartford Post-Session Town Hall is next Tuesday, July 8th, at Town Council Chambers, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. We'll be discussing the 2025 legislative session. And of course, we'll be hearing from you.

Several new laws that were passed during the 2025 legislative session take effect next Tuesday, July 1.

For too long, Connecticut's special education model has faced fundamental flaws that prevented all students from receiving the proper education they deserve. With our recent passage of HB 5001: An Act Concerning the Quality and Delivery of Special Education Services in Connecticut, we are taking important steps to reform this system.
