State Capitol Update for the Week of November 30
December 4, 2020I am honored and excited to announce the news that I have been asked to chair the Public Safety and Security Committee this term. The committee has a wide range of responsibilities, but its mission to make all Connecticut residents feel safe in their homes and communities is at the core of what good government should do. I look forward to the opportunity to bring both my own experience in law enforcement, along with the perspective of our rural community and its traditions of service, to this role, and to collaborate closely with those engaged in this work every day.

COVID Update 11.17
November 17, 2020Today I got an enthusiastic text from my daughter Maude that said, “FYI I tested negative for Covid on Sunday and am getting tested again on Thursday!”
State Capitol Update for the Week of November 9
November 13, 2020I had several reasons this week to be reminded of how we take care of each other in our towns, even when it isn’t immediately apparent.
COVID Update 11.10
November 10, 2020Back at the end of October, Representative Jahana Hayes sent me a challenge, which I immediately and publicly accepted, making an appointment to give blood at Trinity Retreat Center in West Cornwall through the American Red Cross.
