President Biden signed the American Rescue plan into law which includes economic relief for working families, extended unemployment benefits, millions of dollars for education, support for small businesses, funding for municipalities, an aggressive national vaccination program to help contain COVID-19 and much more.

We are celebrating Women's History Month during March and I am honored to serve with a great group of talented women in the House of Representatives!

I am hosting an essay contest for 7th and 8th grade Wethersfield students in celebration of Women's History Month. It is very easy to submit entries.

Next Wednesday, March 10, I will be co-hosting a virtual round table discussion on available resources to help small businesses, especially women and minority entrepreneurs succeed.                 

Vaccine eligibility will expand to the 55-64 age group beginning on March 1 and dedicated clinics for educators and childcare providers will also begin in March.

ICYMI, I want to share an update about an online state portal created about a year ago, to help business owners and entrepreneurs connect to programs and updates all in one place as they navigate the process of starting or managing their business.

Connecticut residents aged 65 to 74 will be able to book appointments to receive the COVID-19 vaccine starting this Thursday, February 11, 2021.

I am thrilled to share news from the CT Dept of Education that an additional $1,214,993 in federal funds under the Coronavirus Response & Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act has been allocated to our Wethersfield Public Schools.
