Happy New Year! The New Year is a time for resolutions and new beginnings.

Speaking of new beginnings, the legislative session begins next Wednesday, January 8th. This is the first year of the two-year biennium and legislators are able to introduce bills on any topic.

Whether it is celebrating Winter Solstice, Festivus, as we do with our neighbors, Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza, Three Kings or any of the holidays at this time of year, know that I wish you peace in your heart, your home, our community, and our world. As our family gathers to celebrate Christmas, I am acutely aware of the ways we are all connected to one another. Please know of my gratitude for all of you - your outreach, ideas, and questions.

This Thanksgiving week, I wish you and your families, happiness, peace, resilience, and connection. If life is difficult right now, I wish you solace and support. Among my many blessings, are the ideas, conversations, challenges, and hopes all of you share with me in my service as your State Representative.
