Many of you have reached out to me regarding the Connecticut Department of Transportation’s plan for what I will call a renovation/renewal project for the infrastructure on I-95 as it passes through Greenwich.

Vaccine eligibility will expand to the 55-64 age group beginning on March 1 and dedicated clinics for educators and childcare providers will also begin in March.

The State of Connecticut is expecting about 45,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses on a weekly basis from the federal government. We now know that the State will be taking a tiered approach in Phase 1B as we work to vaccinate the nearly 1.4 million people in the recently updated Phase 1B category.

Scheduling has been opened for individuals in Phase 1B of the vaccination rollout - currently, Phase 1B is set to include individuals 75 and older; certain essential workers; and individuals and staff in congregate living settings.
