Rep. Luxenberg Appointed Majority Caucus Chair
LUXENBERG NAMED MAJORITY CAUCUS CHAIR
(HARTFORD, CT) – House Speaker-designate Matt Ritter (D-Hartford) has named Representative Geoff Luxenberg (D-Manchester) House Democrats Caucus Chair.
"Geoff works hard to understand the inner-workings of complex policy issues and how they will impact every Connecticut resident," speaker-designate Ritter said. "I am thankful to have him take on this new leadership role, as I know his diligent work ethic will be an asset to all members of the caucus."

The Majority Caucus Chair will work closely with the Speaker and Majority Leader to provide direct service and support to Democratic caucus members, help shape and implement strong communications strategies around caucus policy priorities and victories, assist with redistricting, and serve as the political arm, strategist and muscle of the House Democratic Majority.
