Governor Lamont has announced the state will begin dispersing $31.2 million to nursing homes as part of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
| According to the Governor's announcement, these new funds, which comes on top of $150 million already provided to nursing homes over the course of the pandemic, will be used to continue funding for COVID-19 testing of staff and residents, fund alternate recovery facilities, and aid nursing homes which have struggled to pay nursing home user fees in the first quarter of 2020.
