Manny Sanchez

This year, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the legislature held outdoor swearing-in ceremonies as the 2021 Legislative Session gets underway.

He has been appointed Vice Chairman of the Labor and Public Employees Committee.

I am eager to get to work representing New Britain, Newington and all of the great people of Connecticut. These committee assignments and leadership position will allow me to hit the ground running on behalf of the issues voiced by my constituents.

Rep. Sanchez' legislative priorities include better access to healthcare for all and a state public option, establishing real protections for small business owners and workers given the financial implications of COVID-19, equitable funding for schools and senior tax relief.
