Manchester COVID-19 Updates & Vaccine Availability

February 1, 2021

I want to provide updated information about the availability of the COVID-19 vaccine, as well as the latest COVID stats and data for Manchester.

Vaccine Availability

The State recently announced it would be taking a tiered approach in the current Phase 1B of the COVID vaccine rollout, and anticipates vaccinating nearly 1.4 million CT residents in this category.

If you are 75 or older, you are eligible to sign-up and receive the vaccine if you have not already done so. More information on how to do so is here.

If you are in the second tier of Phase 1b - residents between the ages of 65 and 74 years old - health officials expect to start scheduling appointments in the coming week. I will send an announcement as soon as you can sign up, with information on how to do so.

If you are in the third tier of Phase 1b - frontline essential workers/those with underlying medical conditions - more information on sign-ups is expected at the beginning of march.
