I applaud the approval of $4 million in state funding for renovations to the Ulbrich Heights & Extension housing units in Wallingford.
 
These funds, which the State Bond Commission approved earlier today (December 21st), will be used to upgrade kitchens and bathrooms in various units, as well as to replace siding and exterior windows.
 
I am extremely grateful that the State Bond Commission took action to provide Wallingford Housing Authority with these funds. Everyone deserves to have access to safe and modern affordable housing, and these funds bring us one step closer to achieving that goal here in Wallingford.
