| The City of Hartford has announced the Senior Homeowner Rehabilitation Program to assist owners with properties in the City of Hartford. This program will allow seniors to make necessary repairs to the exterior of their homes.
Eligible repairs include: handicapped accessible ramps, siding, stairs, porches and decks, roofs, gutters, chimney repairs, hand railings, walkways, windows, driveways, and security systems.
The program provides a forgivable loan of up to $10,000 to owner-occupants of one to four residential units. Any cost over $10,000 in city assistance will be at the owner’s expense.
