Join Me To Learn More About the Eastern CT Corridor and Transit Feasibility Study

September 19, 2023

You are invited to attend a series of public information meetings to learn more about a study that could bring more public transportation to Southeastern Connecticut.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) will present its findings from the Eastern CT Corridor and Transit Feasibility Study, which includes four proposed train station sites in Groton, Mystic, Stonington, and Westerly for alternative routing options for Shore Line East passenger rail.

You will be able to ask questions and provide feedback at this week’s information meetings.

The Draft Final Report is now available RIGHT HERE, and the public comment period is open through October 20, 2023. Please join State Representatives Anthony Nolan, Christine Conley, and I at any of this week’s public information meetings, which are listed below:

  • Tuesday, September 19 at 6:00 P.M. at Thrive 55+ Active Living Center, 102 Newtown Road, Groton, CT 06340
